Ulla Hehenberger
Ulla Hehenberger has lived in Westport since 1996. She was fortunate to move into the house next to Arlene Skutch, the beloved founder of the Pink House Painters. After Arlene’s passing she continued painting in Leona Frank’s group. She prefers to paint with oil colors and is now working out of a dedicated art studio, located in a wooded section of her property.
Ulla was born in Sandviken, North of Stockholm, Sweden, and received her College education at Uppsala University and at the Sorbonne in Paris. She earned a degree in French, complemented with studies of Egyptology, Greek and Roman History, and Esthetics. She has traveled extensively and visited most major art museums in France, Italy, Spain, central and Northern Europe, Chicago, Boston, and New York.
